The establishment
Such a beautiful setting with a wonderful walk up to Angon Waterfall and easy to walk into the town. Swimming in the lake was refreshing (not too cold) and everything was just so clean and tidy. Thank you.

Lovely campsite with easy access to the lake, nice size pitches, clean toilets and showers, free bus into Annecy centre outside campsite.

We parked on a pitch with our campervan, electric hook up, we had a corner pitch which was nice and big, plenty of room to also park our scooter.

The establishment
Camping La Chapelle Saint Claude is the BEST site we have ever been to, in the BEST venue. It is always so well maintained, and the facilities are excellent. All the staff are friendly and super helpful, and the pitches are a great size. Stunning. The free bus services into Annecy are also incredible. It's a long drive for us to get to, but a pleasure, on well maintained, uncrowded French roads! The traffic jams back at Dover on our return serve to remind us just how much we love France! Thank you for a wonderful holiday - we will certainly return x
For me to have more holiday to enable us to stay longer!

the pitch size was perfect, and offers shade aswell as sun. We had a camper van and trailer, and there was still plenty of space.

The establishment
We’ve stayed at this campsite many times and we always choose to come back. The location is excellent, the lake is right in front of us for an early morning swim, we love the bread and croissants in the morning and the beach is perfect for relaxing.

Basic and functional but well appointed with all the things we needed.
Knives were quite blunt, breadboard a little on the small side. A butter knife would have been useful. I would include in the information that the home comes with no cleaning products or sponges. This might be normal in France. In the UK cleaning products are normally supplied and left under the sink.

Nice peaceful site. Great value for money - Clean, practical lodges with a lovely access to lake spot. The proximity to Talloires makes for a nice walk in the sun.
Our lodge this year, was by the road to the restaurant next door - At times, cars sped up and down here like they were formula 1 cars!
Accommodation review
Good size, with a nice patio area large enough for seating AND using the drying rack provided for towels etc. Really hot water and practical rooms; plus a larger fridge than some other lodges!
Would be nice to have a small cleaning kit upon arrival, as there is NOTHING provided apart from a broom.
